Natasha is a writer and lapsed lawyer based in Melbourne, Australia. Her work has featured in The Guardian, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Good Weekend, SBS Voices, Kill Your Darlings, Mamamia and elsewhere. Her first book, FOUND, WANTING, is being published by Ultimo Press in February 2022.

Found, Wanting may be a memoir that begins with loss but it’s also one of love and hope. In it, Natasha demonstrates time and time again that we all have the capacity for great joy as well as deep grief.

It could explore how the grief landscape changes as we age, how to speak about grief and loss to family members, how to move forward (not on) with your life after loss etc.

Natasha made us laugh out loud as well as cry. Her skill at detailing the minutiae of life and the emotions that go with it is evident in both her memoir and her other work. She wrote Found, Wanting because it was the book she would have wanted to read when she was grieving, something that told her she wasn’t alone and I think that’s something we could all use right about now – to know we’re not on our own.
