It’s not often that Luke is more emotional than Susie, but this conversation saw it happen. Wayne Patterson, at 58 years old, received the diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. Having lived a full and successful life, Wayne is now facing life head on, with a desire to make the most of each day with his family as it is, and to leave a legacy for the family yet to come. Born out of a desire to leave something for his grandchildren, Wayne has brought a character, that he developed in his teen years, to life through the Fat Rabbit Series. Not only does this become a beautiful and lasting connection between a man and his family, but the proceeds are going to ensure that research is done in the hope of finding a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
