Adelaide singer Rachael Leahcar wowed Australia with her rendition of “La Vie en rose” on The Voice. Coached by Australia’s superstar sweetheart Delta Goodrem, Rachael came third in the competition, and scored a record deal with Universal Music. After releasing three Top 40 albums under the label, she’s going independent for her latest release Shadows, featuring songs she’s penned over the last five years. Rachael joins us to talk about becoming a role model, her favourite song to perform and keeping her blindness a secret from The Voice producers.
