We are speaking with author, Kawai Strong Washburn on the podcast today.

He was born and raised on the Hamakua coast of the Big Island of Hawaii and currently living He with his wife and daughter in the Bay Area of California. We are chatting with him about his first novel, ‘Sharks in the time of Saviours’.

 

This book is all about place and culture, home and belonging and on family and expectations.
