Ian’s written through saying, “My wife is stuck on all negative comments and hold on to them worse than a dog with a bone”. As a husband, what are your tips for Ian to help support his wife in her thinking?

Ah, Haley, Luke and Susie know your pain in this one. Haley wrote, “If I’m telling a funny story about something that happened to us my hubby jumps in, hijacks it and spoils it or adds too much information so the story is too long. He feels entitled to take over if he was there or involved in the story in any way. If I ask him not to do again - later and in private - he gets so offended. He actually sucks at telling a funny story but doesn’t realise it even when it’s falling flat. How can I get him to “read the room”

Dana asked, “With children - at what age does parenting get easier? Or is that just a myth?” What are your thoughts?

Luke and Susie have both watched documentaries about events in the 70's and it struck us how unsafe and dumb they were with high amounts of hitch-hiking, not cuffing dangerous prisoners and then they escape, and let's not get started on the hair. Restore our faith in the past few decades.
