We can honestly say that this is the first time we’ve had an interview interrupted because our guest is getting delivered a fresh-baked, chocolate chip cookie that she’d forgotten she’d put in the oven. Martika shares her story of life in the limelight, then her decision to remove herself from public scrutiny. It was a dream run for Martika. Straight off her run on Kids Incorporated, she started writing music, which took her straight to the top of the charts. Her second concert was at Radio City. It was fast-paced and overwhelming. Martika shares what she would have done differently at that time, but confesses to no regrets for the full life she’s led as she sets to tour again, coming to Australia in July.
