Sharon Witt is a teacher, a speaker and an author of books targeting tweens and teens. She creates resources for young people and their parents as they navigate all the challenges faced through this sometimes awkward life stage. Behind the scenes, though, life has been incredibly challenging for Sharon who shares very vulnerably about her husband’s significant challenge with mental illness, which came on suddenly and unexpectedly. Balancing the care for her husband and child, whilst still maintaining a growing media and teaching career forced Sharon to learn a humbling life lesson. Hear her heart in this honest chat about the reality behind a seemingly “together” life.
Also, it’s summer and Susie’s been taking the kids to the pool. It seems so innocent, but it’s become the scene of a significant parenting lesson.
