The Edge
by Luke Holt | Jul 15, 2010 | Something Old, Something New | 0 |
Well, the day finally arrived to face head on one of my biggest fears whilst fulfilling my charge to experience something new. My fear: Heights. My new experience: Standing on a glass floor nearly 300 metres above the ground on “The Edge” at the Eureka Skydeck.

So, as we entered parenthood, so did many of our friends. Now that the children are at a much more mobile and playful age, we have taken the opportunity to catch up with friends at play centres.
Flying Solo With Baby

Anticipating flying solo with baby, has been one of my biggest mental challenges so far in the “Something Old, Something New” experience.

How do three Melbournites find themselves at the Duck Pond in Gympie?

First Birthday Party
by Luke Holt | Jun 22, 2010 | Something Old, Something New | 0 |
A first birthday party as a new adventure? You betcha! It’s certainly something I’ve never done before and that’s the whole point of this challenge – to do something I’ve never done each and every week.

In an attempt to engage with my son in my adventures, I decided to centre one around him this week with a trip to a children’s play centre, Playdays.

by Luke Holt | Mar 24, 2010 | Something Old, Something New | 0 |
This is the big week – the week I face the first of my most feared challenges. The 1000 steps have been beckoning since I decided to do a new adventure every week. I’ve heard of it, had friends do it and have even been invited to do it before. And Sunday was the day that I would finally face it head on.
Ringwood Lake Park
